How To Cry In The Shower

Step 1: Have Something To Cry About

Just got broke up with, lost your job, favorite sport team lost, childhood pet pass away? Whatever it is, have a strong feeling of sadness you want to get out.

Step 2: Get In Crying Clothes

You're going to be getting soaked in both shower water and tears, so you probably don't want to be in your best suit. This is for you and you alone. A hoodie is highly recommended!

Step 3: Make Sure No One Is Around To Hear You

This is your personal time, so no one else should hear you at your lowest point, or else breakfast might be pretty awkward tomorrow.

Step 4: Prepare For The Crying Session

People have different prefrences for crying in the shower, some like to put on their crying playlist, some light some candles, some like complete darkness. Whatever gets those tears going, make this your own.

Step 5: Start The Shower

Self explanatory, just turn on the water and get it to just the right temperature that'll feel nice as it pounds the pain out of you.

Step 6: Get Into Prime Crying Position

Sit in the shower directly where the stream can hit your face and help hide your tears within the drops. Holding your knees to your chest is highly recommended.

Step 7: Let The Tears Flow!

It's time. Let it all out, as ugly as needed. No one can hear you yell and sob all your emotions out.

Step 8: Hitting Your Limit

Some go for an hour, some only 10 minutes, whatever it is, when you can't cry anymore, it's time for the shower to come to an end. You'll look like a sopping wet cat, but that means it has done it's job.

Step 9: Time For Self Care

Post crying care is as important as the crying itself. Microwave some bagel bites, get into your favorite pjs, and dry off all your hair.

Step 10: Get Some Rest

Crying takes it's toll on your body, so get all nice and comfy and have some sweet drreams now that you don't have the looming dread within your mind!
